100 Missionaries Deploy to 10/40 Window Amid Reports of Visions of 'The Man in White'

Every Home for Christ is deploying 100 missionaries to the 10/40 Window this spring, the organization announced in April 2026. The 10/40 Window refers to the geographic band between 10 and 40 degrees north latitude, home to the largest concentration of unreached people groups in the world.

The deployment comes amid a wave of reports from Muslim-majority countries where individuals say they have seen visions of a man in white robes. Missionaries and church planters in the region say these accounts are accelerating conversions and opening doors for gospel conversations.

Dick Eastman, the longtime international president of Every Home for Christ, passed away earlier this month. Eastman led the organization for decades and was known for his emphasis on prayer and global evangelism. His death has prompted tributes from Christian leaders around the world.

The 10/40 Window includes parts of North Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. Countries in this region often restrict or prohibit Christian missionary activity, making the reports of spiritual openness all the more significant to those tracking global missions.

Easter Week saw the highest Bible engagement ever recorded on the YouVersion Bible app, with Africa leading the global trend. The data suggests growing interest in Scripture across the continent.

At the same time, a new report found that Bible reading in the United States is declining even as openness to Scripture rises. The gap between curiosity and consistent engagement is a concern for church leaders focused on discipleship.

Every Home for Christ says it plans to follow up the spring deployment with additional teams later in the year.
