Brandon Lake took home two top honors at the 2026 K-LOVE Fan Awards, held May 24 at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. Lake won Artist of the Year and Male Artist of the Year, adding to his Grammy win earlier this year. CeCe Winans won Female Artist of the Year and MercyMe took Group of the Year.
Brandon Lake walked away with two top prizes at the 13th annual K-LOVE Fan Awards, held May 24, 2026, at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville.
Lake won both Artist of the Year and Male Artist of the Year at the fan-voted ceremony. The wins came months after he received a Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song for "Hard Fought Hallelujah" with Jelly Roll at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards in February.
CeCe Winans won Female Artist of the Year. Winans also took home the Grammy for Best Gospel Performance/Song earlier this year for "Come Jesus Come" featuring Shirley Caesar. MercyMe claimed Group of the Year.
Other winners included Jamie MacDonald for Song of the Year with "Left It in the River," Phil Wickham for Worship Song of the Year with "Homesick for Heaven," and Emerson Day for Breakout Single with "Get Behind Me."
The ceremony was co-hosted by Sadie Robertson Huff and Lauren Daigle. The broadcast aired on TBN on May 29, 2026.
In a notable moment during the show, Lake helped Winans to the stage after her win. The event also recognized achievements in film, television, podcasting, books, and sports.
The K-LOVE Fan Awards are unique in Christian music because winners are chosen entirely by fan votes, making the honors a direct reflection of audience connection rather than industry panels.
