The Gospel Music Association (GMA) hosted its highly anticipated Easter Celebration livestream on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, bringing together some of the most celebrated voices in contemporary Christian and gospel music for a special evening of worship and reflection.

Filmed at the World Stage Theater at the Museum of the Bible in Washington D.C., the "GMA Easter Celebration" featured performances from Grammy-nominated artists Brooke Ligertwood, Benjamin William Hastings, KB, and Passion. The event was produced in partnership with the Museum of the Bible and CREATR, and was made available for streaming throughout Holy Week on gospelmusic.org/easter.

The GMA, which has been exposing, promoting, and celebrating the Gospel through music since 1964, designed the event to honor the Easter story and the significant hope found in a risen Savior. The livestream drew viewers from across the country and around the world, with many churches incorporating it into their Holy Week programming.

In other gospel music news, Grammy-nominated and Dove Award-winning Bethel Music announced their U.S. "The Bethel Music 2026 Tour," with the first leg kicking off on April 19 in Seattle. Additional performances are scheduled at The Wiltern Theater in Los Angeles and the House of Blues in Dallas, with a second leg planned for October. The worship collective also plans to tour in Canada, Asia, and Europe throughout the year.

The newly rebranded "Texas Gospel Music Show" is set to debut from April 30 to May 2, 2026, at the E-Sports Arena Arlington in Fort Worth, TX, featuring artists such as Ernie Haase & Signature Sound, The Inspirations, and Greater Vision.

Apple Music's "Gospel Hits 2026" playlist continues to feature artists like Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Tye Tribbett, and Ricky Dillard, reflecting the vibrant and growing gospel music landscape in 2026.
