Google Unveils Pixel 11 Series, Pixel Watch 5, and Pixel Tag at Made by Google 2026 Event

Google held its Made by Google 2026 event on August 12, unveiling the Pixel 11 series, the Pixel Watch 5, and a new item tracker called the Pixel Tag. Comedian Trevor Noah hosted the event, which featured celebrity guests including Stephen Curry, Alex Cooper, and Shubman Gill.

The Pixel 11 lineup includes four models: the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and Pixel 11 Pro Fold. All are powered by the new Tensor G6 chip, which delivers a 50% increase in TPU compute performance for faster on-device AI and improved computational photography. All models now include 256GB as the base storage tier.

Prices increased across the board. The Pixel 11 starts at $899, the Pro at $1,099, the Pro XL at $1,299, and the Pro Fold at $1,899. Pro models feature a customizable circular LED array called HiLight, integrated into the camera bar to provide visual feedback for Gemini interactions and notifications. Pro displays use a new coating that is twice as scratch-resistant as previous generations.

New camera features include Magic Capture, which records video and stills simultaneously to select the best shots, and Camera Looks for film-style presets. A Creator Suite adds a teleprompter and vocal enhancement tools for content creators.

The Pixel Watch 5 introduces health tracking for blood pressure patterns and insulin resistance trends. It runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 chip and offers up to 40 hours of battery life. A special edition designed with Stephen Curry was also revealed.

The Pixel Tag is an item tracker priced at $29, or $99 for a four-pack. It uses Ultra-Wideband and Bluetooth 6.0 for precision tracking and integrates with the Android Find Hub network. It is scheduled for release on November 11, 2026.

Google emphasized agentic AI capabilities throughout the event, with Gemini able to proactively surface information from apps, draft messages, and perform tasks like booking rides or ordering groceries.
