International Christian Embassy Holds Emergency Summit on Global Antisemitism

The International Christian Embassy Jerusalem called an emergency summit in June 2026 to respond to what it described as a sharp rise in antisemitism across Europe, North America, and the Middle East.

Leaders from dozens of countries attended the gathering, which focused on mobilizing churches to speak out against anti-Jewish violence and discrimination. Organizers said the summit was prompted by a string of attacks on Jewish institutions and a surge in online hate speech recorded over the past year.

The ICEJ, which represents evangelical Christians who support Israel, called on member churches to hold educational events, partner with local Jewish communities, and contact elected officials about hate crime legislation.

Summit speakers pointed to data from the Anti-Defamation League showing a record number of antisemitic incidents in the United States in 2025, along with similar trends in France, Germany, and the United Kingdom.

The gathering also addressed the ongoing conflict in Sudan, where approximately 160 churches have been damaged or destroyed during four years of civil war. Participants called for international pressure to protect religious minorities in conflict zones.

Christian leaders at the summit said they viewed opposition to antisemitism as a core expression of their faith. Several speakers cited biblical commands to stand with the Jewish people and called on congregations to move beyond statements to concrete action in their local communities.
