Gospel artists Jamel Strong and Crystal Aikin have joined the roster at Mixed Bag Entertainment, the company announced in August 2026.

The signings bring two established gospel voices under one management umbrella. Strong has been active in gospel music for years, known for his powerful vocal delivery and ministry-focused approach to performance. Aikin, a former finalist on "American Idol," has built a dedicated following in the gospel community through her recordings and live performances.

Mixed Bag Entertainment has been expanding its gospel music presence, and the additions of Strong and Aikin signal continued investment in the genre. The company handles management, booking, and career development for its artists.

The announcements came during a busy summer for gospel music signings and partnerships. Koryn Hawthorne joined Motown Gospel, and Marvin Sapp entered a distribution partnership with Roc Nation for his 17th album, "Restoration." Tehillah Music Group also added Courtney Franklin to its roster.

Industry observers noted that the flurry of signings reflects growing label and management interest in gospel music as a commercially viable and culturally significant genre. The Stellar Gospel Music Awards in Charlotte earlier in August drew significant attention to the industry and its artists.

Strong and Aikin are expected to release new music and announce tour dates under their new management arrangement in the coming months.
