The Jesus Tent Revival movement, led by Dr. Braden Andersen, has recorded more than 3,000 baptisms in the past 12 months across cities including Dallas, Memphis, Nashville, and Columbus. The non-denominational movement operates four full-time teams across the US and Canada, with plans to visit nearly 200 more cities. Events are free, with no tickets or formal offerings.

The Jesus Tent Revival movement has recorded more than 3,000 baptisms in the past 12 months, with events held in cities across the United States and Canada.
Dr. Braden Andersen, a former primary care physician who left his medical practice in 2022 to pursue full-time evangelism, founded the movement after an initial gathering in Kokomo, Indiana in 2019. The organization now runs four full-time teams operating at the same time across the country.
Events have been held in Dallas, St. Louis, Memphis, Nashville, Columbus, Tulsa, and rural communities across Mississippi, Florida, Kentucky, and Virginia. Upcoming events include a gathering in Mesquite, Texas in May 2026.
The gatherings are free of charge. There are no tickets, no celebrity preachers, and no scripted performances. Organizers describe the atmosphere as focused on sincerity and spiritual hunger rather than hype.
Baptism is a central part of each event. In New Albany, Indiana and Fort Smith, Arkansas, hundreds of people were baptized in a single weekend.
The movement partners with local churches to provide follow-up and discipleship after the tent leaves each city. Dr. Andersen has said that demand for gatherings is currently outpacing the organization's capacity, which has led to rapid expansion and international outreach into Canada.
As of April 2026, the movement had plans to visit nearly 200 additional cities.
