Kirk Franklin will headline Alabama A&M University's 2026 Homecoming "Night of Gospel" on Sunday, October 11, at 6:00 p.m. at the AAMU Event Center in Huntsville.
The concert serves as the kickoff for the university's homecoming week, held on the campus known as "The Hill." AAMU announced Franklin as the headliner earlier this fall, drawing significant attention from the gospel music community and HBCU supporters.
The supporting lineup includes Todd Dulaney, an award-winning gospel artist and former professional baseball player known for hits such as "Victory Belongs to Jesus," "Your Great Name," and "The Anthem." Also on the bill is Dante' Pride, an Alabama-based pastor, Christian hip-hop artist, and motivational communicator who provides a local connection to the event.
Franklin, a twenty-time Grammy Award winner, has been one of the most active figures in gospel music in 2026. He hosted the 41st Annual Stellar Gospel Music Awards in Charlotte and released a collaboration with GloRilla titled "This Time." He also signed a partnership with Uptown Records earlier this year.
Alabama A&M encouraged attendees to monitor official university social media platforms for ticket information and additional event updates.
