Marvin Sapp Signs With Roc Nation Distribution for 17th Album Restoration

Gospel artist Marvin Sapp announced a distribution partnership with Roc Nation on July 28, 2026, for his upcoming 17th studio album, Restoration.

The deal makes Restoration the first full-length gospel project to be released through Roc Nation Distribution. Roc Nation Distribution President Krystian Santini said the company aims to expand its presence in gospel and inspirational music through the collaboration.

The lead single, "He's Not Finished," is set for release on August 21, 2026. The track was written by Sapp and Stan Jones. A specific release date for the full album has not been announced, but it is expected in fall 2026.

Restoration is Sapp's ninth live recording. It was produced by his longtime music director, Curtis Lindsey, with songwriting contributions from Sapp, Lindsey, Jones, and Gus Lacy.

The deal was brokered by Stanley Brown of Timeless Music Group and TITLE 9. Brown has a long professional history with Sapp, having previously worked on his 1999 album, Nothing Else Matters.

The partnership follows Sapp's 2025 EP, If I Were An R&B Singer, which was released as a standalone project. Sapp said the theme of Restoration developed organically as the songs for the album were being written.

Sapp is one of the most recognized names in gospel music, known for songs including "Never Would Have Made It" and "He Has His Hands on You." His work has earned multiple Stellar Gospel Music Award nominations and wins over the course of his career.
