Meta Announces Muse Charm Wearable Pendant and Smart Glasses Integration at Connect 2026
Meta unveiled the Muse Charm, a pendant-style wearable device, at its September 2026 Connect event. The device gives users quick access to Meta's Muse AI agent via a fingerprint sensor. Meta also announced Muse integration with its smart glasses and new desktop capabilities for Mac.
Meta announced several major expansions to its Muse AI agent at its Connect 2026 event in September, including a new wearable device and deeper integration with its smart glasses lineup.
The Muse Charm is a pendant-style wearable that gives users quick, hands-free access to the Muse AI agent via a fingerprint sensor. The device is designed for on-the-go use, letting people trigger Muse without picking up their phone.
Meta also announced that Muse is being integrated into its Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses. Users will be able to activate the agent by voice for tasks like meal logging, workout guidance, and product identification while wearing the glasses.
Additional announcements at Connect 2026 included a "Muse Realtime Avatar" feature that lets users video chat with a personalized digital avatar of their agent, and expanded desktop capabilities that allow Muse to manage applications on Mac computers.
Muse launched in early September 2026 as Meta's personal AI agent. It connects to a user's calendar, email, and retail accounts to automate tasks. The agent runs inside a dedicated virtual machine called Muse Secure VM, with a separate Sentinel Agent that monitors and approves its internet activity. Meta says Muse does not share personal data with its advertising systems.
New retail partnerships announced at Connect include Best Buy, Walmart, and Sephora, allowing Muse to complete purchases on behalf of users.
Muse is free for most users, with subscription tiers at $20 per month for Power and $100 per month for Maximum. Meta's long-term revenue model involves taking a small fee from transactions completed through the agent.
