The National Black Church Initiative launched its 'Reach Out, Reach Back' campaign on October 15, 2026, as part of a fall schedule of community outreach programs.

The NBCI is a coalition representing 150,000 African American and Latino churches with a combined membership of approximately 27.7 million people. The organization focuses on addressing racial disparities in healthcare, education, housing, technology, and the environment.

The 'Reach Out, Reach Back' campaign is designed to connect congregants with community resources and encourage members to support one another through local church networks. It follows the launch of a Prayer Warriors Circle on September 25 and a Sunday School Teacher Certificate Course on September 1.

NBCI President Rev. Anthony Evans leads the organization's programs, which include the National Clinical Trials Strategic Plan and the American Clinical Health Disparities Commission. The NBCI has also run campaigns focused on maternal health, Parkinson's disease awareness, and vaccine education.

The organization said the fall campaign reflects its ongoing commitment to using the Black church as a platform for community health and social support.
