Since June 2022, volunteers used the site to assemble approximately 175,000 food parcels, including standard food boxes, Christmas packages, and kits for military personnel. The warehouse processed over 600 metric tons of relief supplies provided by partner organizations in Germany, the Netherlands, and Austria.
The ministry reported no casualties among its own staff. However, Global Aid Network Canada reported that a neighboring elderly care home was also struck in the attack, killing 29 residents.
The strike destroyed vehicles, generators, tools, and materials related to the ministry's evangelistic outreach program. The ministry maintained that the site was an entirely civilian facility with no military function.
Ukraine for Christ said it remains committed to continuing its mission despite the loss. The organization asked supporters for prayer and wisdom as it determines how to move forward.
The attack was part of a broader series of Russian air strikes targeting logistics and civilian infrastructure in late August 2026. International observers and Ukrainian officials have documented extensive damage to religious, humanitarian, and civilian sites throughout the ongoing conflict.
