The 10th annual Sing! Conference is coming to Nashville on September 7-9, featuring a full symphony orchestra and a lineup of speakers that includes John Piper and John Lennox.
Organizer Keith Getty, the Irish hymn writer known for co-writing "In Christ Alone," built this year's event around the theme "Symphony of Scripture." The conference focuses on the place of biblical text in congregational worship, a topic Getty has championed for years.
Getty organized the event in part as a response to the growing use of artificial intelligence in worship music. He has argued publicly that churches need to anchor their singing in Scripture rather than rely on algorithmically generated content.
The conference will include main sessions with live orchestral accompaniment, breakout workshops on songwriting and congregational singing, and evening concerts. Piper, the founder of Desiring God, and Lennox, a mathematician and Christian apologist from Oxford, are among the featured speakers.
Past Sing! Conferences have drawn thousands of worship leaders, pastors, and musicians from across the country and internationally. Organizers say this year's event is on track to be the largest in the conference's history.
Tickets and registration information are available at the Sing! Conference website. The event will be held at a venue in downtown Nashville, with livestream options for those who cannot attend in person.
