StowTown Records Signs Global Distribution Deal With Syntax Creative

StowTown Records announced a global distribution partnership with Syntax Creative in September 2026, a move the label says will significantly expand the reach of its gospel and Christian music catalog to listeners worldwide.

The partnership gives StowTown access to Syntax Creative's distribution network, which covers digital platforms, physical retail, and international markets. Syntax Creative has built a reputation as one of the leading independent distributors for Christian and gospel music.

The announcement came the same month that Michael Booth released a new solo album through StowTown. Booth, known for his work with The Booth Brothers, has been a consistent presence in Southern gospel music for more than two decades.

StowTown Records was founded by Dove Award-winning producer Wayne Haun and artist Ernie Haase. The label has grown steadily since its launch, signing artists across Southern gospel, inspirational, and Christian music genres.

Singing News, which covers the Southern gospel industry, reported the distribution deal as a significant step for the independent label. Industry observers say the partnership positions StowTown to compete more directly with larger Christian music labels that have established global distribution pipelines.

The deal reflects a broader trend in Christian music, where independent labels are increasingly turning to specialized distributors to reach audiences outside the United States. Gospel music has seen growing interest in markets across Africa, Latin America, and parts of Asia.

StowTown did not disclose financial terms of the agreement. The label said the partnership takes effect immediately and covers its full catalog of releases.
