Tasha Cobbs Leonard released her live album "Tasha Unscripted" on September 11, 2026, via Motown Gospel and Capitol Christian Music Group, and kicked off the Unscripted Nights Tour the same day with a sold-out show in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The 34-track project was recorded at the dReam Center Church of Atlanta in Decatur, Georgia, where Cobbs Leonard has served in ministry for two decades. The album captures live worship, prayer, and preaching alongside new arrangements of her catalog.

Guest artists on the album include Mickey Guyton on "The Church I Grew Up In," William Murphy on "Break Every Chain," Jonathan McReynolds on "For Your Glory," Kierra Sheard on "Fill Me Up," and Karen Clark Sheard on "Put A Praise On It / Hallelujah." Israel Houghton, Travis Greene, Dante Bowe, and Le'Andria Johnson also appear.

The tour includes stops in Atlanta, Washington, D.C., New York, and Dallas. Cobbs Leonard was also announced as a performer for the 57th Annual GMA Dove Awards, scheduled for October 6, 2026.

The release follows a period of significant recognition for the artist. In 2026, she received the Aretha Franklin Icon Award at the 41st Stellar Gospel Music Awards. She holds the title of Billboard's Gospel Artist of the Decade and has accumulated more than 5 billion career streams.

"Tasha Unscripted" is her first live album since her 2025 studio project "TASHA" and marks a return to the format that first brought her widespread recognition.
