Southern Gospel family group The Hyssongs signed with Horizon Records on April 8, 2026. Their debut single for the label, "Good News Savior," is scheduled for release on May 1, 2026, as the group marks 30 years in music ministry.

Southern Gospel family group The Hyssongs signed with Horizon Records on April 8, 2026. The label announced the signing alongside news of the group's debut single, "Good News Savior," set for release on May 1, 2026.
The Hyssongs are celebrating 30 years in music ministry during the summer of 2026. The Maine-based family group is known for their vocal harmonies and use of brass instruments, including trumpet and trombone, which have set them apart in the Southern Gospel genre.
Horizon Records' Greg Bentley said he had followed the group for several years, particularly after their 2018 number-one song "I Tell Them Jesus." He noted the group's growing audience and the strong family dynamic, with members Dell, Susan, Richard, Richard's wife Kelly, and their daughter Makayla all contributing to the ministry.
The Hyssongs have earned multiple Singing News Fan Awards and Southern Gospel News SGNScoops Diamond awards over their career. Several of their songs have reached number one on the Singing News Radio Charts, including "There Is A God," "Choose Life," and "Let the Hallelujahs Ring."
Their debut single for Horizon Records features keyboard and guitars rather than brass, though the group's signature vocal harmonies remain central to the recording. The single is available for pre-save ahead of its May 1 release.
The Hyssongs said they are excited to join the Crossroads family, of which Horizon Records is a part, and plan to continue sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ globally as they mark three decades in ministry.
