The UniteUS campus revival movement brought its outreach to the University of Miami on September 29, 2026, drawing hundreds of students to the Watsco Center in Coral Gables, Florida.
Hundreds of students responded to the Gospel message during the event. Many chose to be baptized immediately following the service, continuing a pattern seen at other campuses the movement has visited.
UniteUS was founded by Tonya Prewett and launched at Auburn University in September 2023. Since then, it has reached more than two dozen college campuses across the United States. The ministry reports that over 120,000 students have participated in its events, with thousands making commitments to follow Christ.
The movement also held an event at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California in late September 2026. That gathering extended past its scheduled end time as students continued to pray, worship, and receive baptism.
Events typically feature worship, preaching, and testimonies. A consistent feature of UniteUS gatherings is the number of spontaneous water baptisms that take place after the outreach sessions.
The ministry is planning future events at Appalachian State University and the University of South Alabama. It has also begun expanding its reach to high school students, addressing issues such as shame, suicide, and lack of community among youth.
Earlier in 2026, approximately 5,000 students gathered at the University of Central Florida for a UniteUS event. The ministry reported that 1,600 students made a decision to follow Jesus at that gathering.
