Voices of Fire, the gospel choir founded by Pharrell Williams' uncle Bishop Ezekiel Williams, released new singles in May 2026, including "BOUNCE" and "ARMOR" featuring Zacardi Cortez.

The releases come as the choir continues to build on its Netflix documentary success. The show, which premiered in 2020, followed the choir's formation in Hampton Roads, Virginia, and introduced the group to a global audience.

"BOUNCE" is an upbeat praise track that blends contemporary gospel with hip-hop influences. "ARMOR" features Zacardi Cortez, a veteran gospel artist known for his powerful tenor voice.

Pharrell Williams has remained involved in the choir's music and ministry. His connection to the project is personal. Bishop Ezekiel Williams, his uncle, leads the choir and the New Deliverance Evangelistic Church in Portsmouth, Virginia.

The choir has grown significantly since the Netflix series aired. It now draws members from across the Hampton Roads region and has performed at major gospel events.

Gospel music streaming surged 18.5 percent in 2025, and Voices of Fire has benefited from that growth. Their music reaches listeners who may not attend church but connect with gospel through streaming platforms.

The new releases are available on all major streaming services. The choir is expected to announce additional projects later in 2026.
