Will Graham, grandson of Billy Graham, preached in Uijeongbu, South Korea, on May 17, 2026.

The event continues a ministry connection that began more than 50 years ago. In 1973, Billy Graham drew more than 3 million people to a crusade in Seoul, one of the largest evangelistic gatherings in history.

Will Graham emphasized peace and restoration through a personal relationship with God. He spoke to a crowd that included many young Koreans who had not grown up in the church.

The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association organized the event as part of a broader 2026 international ministry schedule. Will Graham also preached in Japan in early May.

South Korea has one of the largest Christian populations in Asia. The country's evangelical churches have been active in global missions for decades.

The Uijeongbu event drew attendees from across the Seoul metropolitan area. Local church leaders partnered with BGEA to organize outreach and follow-up programs for new believers.

Will Graham said the response reminded him of stories his grandfather told about the 1973 crusade. He called the Korean church a model of faith and perseverance.

The BGEA plans additional events in Asia and Europe through the end of 2026.
