CeCe Winans and Darrel Walls Win Big at 68th Annual Grammy Awards

CeCe Winans and Darrel Walls Win Big at 68th Annual Grammy Awards

The 68th Annual Grammy Awards, held on February 1, 2026, recognized top performers in gospel and Christian music across five categories.

CeCe Winans, featuring Shirley Caesar, won Best Gospel Performance/Song for "Come Jesus Come." The category also included nominations for Jonathan McReynolds and Jamal Roberts, Tasha Cobbs Leonard with John Legend, and Kirk Franklin.

Darrel Walls and PJ Morton took home Best Gospel Album for "Heart of Mine." Other nominees in the category included Tye Tribbett's "Only On The Road (Live)," Tamela Mann's "Live Breathe Fight," Tasha Cobbs Leonard's "Tasha," and Yolanda Adams' "Sunny Days."

Brandon Lake and Jelly Roll won Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song for "Hard Fought Hallelujah." The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir won Best Roots Gospel Album for "I Will Not Be Moved (Live)."

Israel and New Breed won Best Contemporary Christian Music Album for "Coritos Vol. 1." Other nominees included Lecrae's "Reconstruction," Brandon Lake's "King of Hearts," and Forrest Frank's "CHILD OF GOD II."

Grammy nominees in the Christian and gospel categories were announced on November 7, 2025.

Separately, Horizon Records announced the signing of family group The Hyssongs on April 8, 2026. The Singing News Fan Awards announced their Top Ten on March 18, 2026. Finalists for the 2026 CMB Awards were announced on April 1, 2026, with winners to be revealed on May 29 during the CMB Awards Ceremony at Momentum.

Bethel Music announced a 2026 U.S. tour with April dates beginning April 19 in Seattle, followed by Los Angeles and Dallas. October dates launch in Atlanta, with shows in New York City and Nashville.
