Clark Sisters and Fred Hammond Headline New Gospel Residency in Las Vegas

IKON Presents and Dr. Holly Carter of Releve Entertainment announced a gospel music residency in Las Vegas in July 2026. The series, called Legends of Gospel: Vegas Residency, features The Clark Sisters, Fred Hammond, and Deitrick Haddon.

The Clark Sisters are among the most decorated acts in gospel music history, with a career spanning more than four decades. Fred Hammond is a veteran gospel artist and producer known for his work with Commissioned and his solo catalog. Deitrick Haddon has built a following through both music and television.

The residency brings gospel music to a city better known for pop and entertainment spectacles. Organizers say the goal is to give gospel artists a permanent, high-profile platform and to reach audiences who might not attend a traditional church concert.

The announcement came the same month that the gospel industry marked other milestones. Crossroads appointed Scott Wagner as its new President and CEO on July 1, 2026, following the passing of Mickey Gamble earlier in the year. The Kingsmen celebrated their 70th anniversary with a new album titled Still Jesus. CeCe Winans appeared on the cover of Woman's World Magazine.

The gospel community also mourned the loss of Clyde Wright, a celebrated jubilee and gospel quartet singer and longtime member of the Golden Gate Quartet, who died on July 1, 2026, at age 98.

Sight and Sound Theater announced a partnership with Wonder Project to stream faith-based productions starting July 30, expanding access to gospel and Christian content beyond live venues.
