Gospel Legends Set for First-Ever Las Vegas Strip Residency This October

The Clark Sisters, Fred Hammond, and Deitrick Haddon will headline the Legends of Gospel: Vegas Residency at The Theater at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas on October 8 and 9, 2026. Organizers say it is the first gospel music residency on the Las Vegas Strip in the current music era, with tickets on sale starting July 17.

The Clark Sisters, Fred Hammond, and Deitrick Haddon will headline a new gospel music residency on the Las Vegas Strip this fall, organizers announced in July 2026.

The Legends of Gospel: Vegas Residency opens October 8 and 9, 2026, at The Theater at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas. Tickets went on sale July 17 at GospelVegas.com.

The residency is presented by IKON Presents in partnership with Dr. Holly Carter, President and CEO of Relévé Entertainment. Carter, who created and executive-produced the series, said the goal is to give gospel music a permanent home on the Strip.

The Clark Sisters, comprising Jacky Clark Chisholm, Karen Clark Sheard, Dorinda Clark-Cole, and Twinkie Clark, are recognized as the highest-selling female gospel group in history. Fred Hammond is a Grammy Award-winning artist credited with shaping the Urban Praise and Worship genre. Deitrick Haddon has placed multiple albums at number one on the Billboard Top Gospel charts.

Gospel music has appeared on the Las Vegas Strip before. Clara Ward and the Ward Singers held a residency from 1961 to 1968, and the Edwin Hawkins Singers performed there in 1969. Organizers say this new series marks a significant return of the genre to Las Vegas in a marquee capacity.

The residency is designed as an ongoing, multi-date series. Additional dates beyond the October opening weekend have not yet been announced.
