Jamie MacDonald and Lauren Daigle Lead We Love Christian Music Awards 2026
The 14th Annual We Love Christian Music Awards saw Jamie MacDonald win three awards and Lauren Daigle take two, with a historic tie for Song of the Year.
The 14th Annual We Love Christian Music Awards delivered one of its most memorable moments Sunday night, as Jamie MacDonald secured three wins - the most of any artist - while Lauren Daigle followed with two. The fan-voted celebration also made history with the first-ever tie for Song of the Year, awarded to Zach Williams and Jamie MacDonald.
Jamie MacDonald won Song of the Year (tie), New Artist/Group Song of the Year, and Collaboration of the Year (with Lauren Daigle for "Desperate"). Lauren Daigle won Worship Song of the Year ("Let It Be A Hallelujah") and Collaboration of the Year (with MacDonald).
Notable winners included Jelly Roll for Mainstream Impact Award ("Hard Fought Hallelujah"), Michael W. Smith for Music Video of the Year ("Arms Around the Sun"), Tauren Wells for Pop Song of the Year ("Let The Church Sing"), Anne Wilson for Country/Roots Song of the Year ("God Story"), and Josh Bissell for The Next Big Thing ("How Far (Psalm 139)").
Hosted by Rhett Walker, the event blended high-impact performances with fan-driven results, showcasing breakout and established artists across genres. Performances included Colton Dixon, Britt Nicole, Band Reeves, Caleb Hyles, Mary-Clair, Clark Beckham, and others.
Jamie MacDonald expressed gratitude: "Thank you for listening to the music. I'm so thankful these songs are connecting you to God and pointing you to Jesus." Lauren Daigle noted: "For 'Let It Be A Hallelujah,' we wrote the song 7 years ago… to have it be honored now is really special."
Kevin McNeese, founder of NewReleaseToday and creator of the We Love Awards, emphasized: "This show is about creating a shared experience for fans… many from emerging talent you won't see elsewhere."
The next We Love Christian Music Awards will return to The Factory in Franklin, TN, in February 2027.
