Latter-day Saints Deliver Global Humanitarian Aid Across Nine Countries in July 2026
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints carried out humanitarian projects across nine countries in June and July 2026, donating food kits in Bolivia, medical equipment in Jamaica, wheelchairs in Argentina, and classroom facilities in Malawi. Young adults from 24 countries also assembled hygiene kits for families in England.

In Bolivia, the Church donated 2,500 food kits on July 2, 2026, helping more than 1,200 hospital patients in La Paz as well as families, shelters, and elderly care centers. The supplies included rice, flour, oil, sugar, noodles, tuna, lentils, and beans, donated in cooperation with Bolivia's Ministry of Health and Sports.
In Jamaica, the Church donated fetal monitoring and ultrasound equipment, cardiac monitors, hospital beds, infusion pumps, and stretchers to Victoria Jubilee Hospital in Kingston and Savanna-la-Mar Hospital on June 22, 2026. Healthcare professionals received training alongside the equipment donation.
In Argentina, the Church donated 1,500 wheelchairs and orthopedic equipment to CILSA in Santa Fe on June 19, 2026, building on more than 20 years of collaboration between the two organizations.
In Malawi, the Church dedicated new classroom facilities at Magwero Primary School on June 19, 2026, including a two-classroom block, a four-classroom block with administrative offices, a new water system, 18 sanitation facilities, and 250 double-seater desks. The project improves learning conditions for more than 600 students.
In England, around 1,500 young adults from 24 countries gathered at Turf Moor in Lancashire on June 3, 2026, for the Church's annual Europe Young Single Adult Conference. Volunteers packed a six-month supply of food for local families and assembled more than 1,500 hygiene kits for women and children, supporting three charities: Lancashire Women, SafeNet, and Burnley FC in the Community.
Additional projects included surgical equipment donations in Paraguay, food and blankets for families in Peru, and a groundbreaking for a vocational rehabilitation training facility in South Korea.
